Terms of service

The hosted service is run by Novela AI LLC, a California limited liability company. Using it means you agree to these terms.

Using the service

Store and share only content you are allowed to store and share. Do not use the service to harm it, other accounts, or the companies it runs on.
Keep your recovery code safe, and keep your own backup of your source code. Unlose backs up agent sessions, not project files.
You need to be old enough to enter a contract where you live.

The free tier includes 5 GB of encrypted storage. The Individual plan is 50 GB, billed by Stripe at $15 per month or $150 per year.
The plan renews on its own at the same price until you cancel. Cancel from the dashboard at any time.
Cancelling stops the next renewal. What you already paid for keeps running to the end of that period.
We refund your first payment on a plan in full if you ask within 14 days of it. Ask at billing@unlose.sh.
unlose account delete is different from cancelling. It ends the plan straight away and deletes your data, and there is no refund for the rest of the period. Cancel first if you want the days you paid for.
Prices are in US dollars.
Downgrading never deletes what you stored. A full account only stops taking new uploads.

Features, limits, and availability can change. A change to a limit will not delete data you already stored.
We may limit or suspend access to protect users, look into abuse, or meet a legal duty.
Material changes to these terms will be posted on this page before they take effect.

The service is provided as-is, with no warranty, to the extent the law permits. We do not promise it will be available at any particular time.
It is a second copy, not your only one. Keep your own backup of anything you cannot lose.

To the extent the law permits, Novela AI LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, or lost data.
To the extent the law permits, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred US dollars, whichever is larger.
These limits do not apply where the law does not allow them, and nothing here removes a right you have that cannot be waived.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
Any dispute goes to the state or federal courts in Alameda County, California, and both sides agree to that venue.
