# unlose

> Local-first encrypted recovery for Claude Code and Codex sessions.

Unlose captures exact agent session artifacts into an owner-only local vault. Hosted sync encrypts capsules on the client. By default, the hosted server has no recovery key and cannot decrypt session contents. Optional recovery-key hosting changes that trust boundary explicitly.
